A La Louisiane


  • 2 oz Rye Whiskey
  • .75 oz Sweet Vermouth
  • .5 oz Benedictine
  • 3 dashes Absinthe
  • 3 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
  • Garnish: Maraschino cherry


  1. Add the rye whiskey, sweet vermouth, Benedictine, absinthe and Peychaud's bitters into a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled.
  2. Strain into a chilled coupe.
  3. Garnish with a skewered maraschino cherry.
